China says 'conclusion' of free trade talks with S. Korea

Yup, Korea just using china for their goods to export and raw materials. Japan in my opinion is more friendly to Chinese from ordinary people perspective.

You have to look at the governemtal perspectives, bolo
These guys make decisions, not the common Joes
We have far better bilateral relationships with S Korea on national level :-)

ahahahahah....yes he is thinking like South Asians, who always quote 'security threats' for not opening up to investments/trade between them, reason they are so poor and backward(the most in Asia).lol:lol:

Isn't that what the world's strongest economy has been practicing the whole time ? Using 'security concerns' to block Chinese companies such as Huawei , is that the reason why they are so advanced ?

All of these negatives will be addressed as China's Government clamps down on corruption. Let me answer your question with a rhetorical question: "How is a FTA with Beijing and Seoul damaging to China?" Do you understand that trade between Seoul and Beijing is quite significant? South Korea is a large market for Chinese goods, if performance of Samsung against Chinese electronic giants Huawei - Lenovo - Zopo -Hisense - Amoi - Aigo proves anything it is this : Koreans are opening up to foreign electronic appliances. Samsung is already beginning to lose its qualitative edge, even in its home market.

As for the rest, I'm sure that Beijing calculates that with an FTA with Seoul-- will lead to the realization of Korea's liberalized geostrategic stance on East Asian affairs.

(1) China and Korea export are competitive relation, not complementary relation such China-Austrila trade(manufactured goods - raw resources) or China-Europe trade(manufactured goods - tech transfer) or China-Japan trade(manufactured goods - processed materials) . China and Korea compete in many areas from consumer electronics to ship building. Korea don't have commodities or the techs China needs.

(2) Korean market is too small and is one of the most protective market, Koreans are extremely nationalistic they only buy domestic brand products even if foreign brand offers better quality. Chinese market is way bigger and Chinese don't have such preference for domestic brand. Free trade with Korea is unfair to China.

Lool you are kind of right about the Korean mentality though(I can attest to that myself). But you can't blame them for being hyper nationalistic/patriotic though(much like Japan). Lol. So if they prefer buying their own products instead of foreign ones (unlike the not so patriotic/nationalistic Chinese. Lol), then you can't blame them, instead you should encourage and emulate them. :p::D

If that was the case, Japan, SK will be third world countries very quickly. I hope all patriotic Chinese buy Chinese products. I buy Chinese products. Most of the products are made in China.
