Those entering on our side of the country and Bangladesh, are.

Don't know about the ones in Myanmar except for a stray case here and there of communal tensions.

India and Bangladesh are both facing challenges of radicalisation of that community by ISIS and other jihadi groups.

Do you want the West to invade Myanmar under the pretext of protecting local Muslims? Do you really think that this is a good idea?

Nope. I totally support Russia and China on this move.

We have a lot of menace in this part of the country; the last thing we need is an international war which messes up the entire NE part of India and smugglers and drug gangs have a free run here.

As interesting as a BD-MM war might appear in theory, it will be a nuisance for us NE people. And there is enough mess of narcotics and smuggling in the border; if the BD or MM military stop patrols and fight each other, these smugglers and terrorists will have a field day and our folks in Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland will suffer.

The density of patrol units to the total area is very less. ICG has to monitor 7500+Km of coastline and not just the IMBL. And ICG is not having the same leverage as the Navy.

Monitoring fishermen is fine. I agree that some of them intentionally invade your waters. Deal with them harshly because they are not following the law. All up for it.
