We already see what China is planning to do, such as build manmade Island to stake a greater claim on the seas LOL. Its ok, our advantage will be working with every nation in your neighborhood.

Beijing: China has approved construction of high altitude railway line to come close to the Indian border in Arunachal Pradesh. According to official Xinhua news agency, China has approved the feasibility report for the construction of the railway linking Lhasa to Nyingchi in Tibet.

In August this year, China inaugurated its extension of railway line in Tibet which come close to the Indian border in Sikkim besides borders of Nepal and Bhutan.

Friday's official announcement about the construction of the new rail line came in the backdrop of India's plans to improve the road network along the border regions of Arunachal Pradesh, which China claims as Southern Tibet.

Reacting to India's plans to build 54 more border posts The Chinese military spokesman Yang Yujun said on Thursday that India should shun moves that "may further complicate the situation" and do more to maintain peace in that area.

China and India have disputes over the eastern part of their border.

The new railway will be the second rail link to be built in Tibet after the Qinghai-Tibet Railway connecting Xining in neighbouring Qinghai province with Tibet's provincial capital Lhasa which became operational in 2006.

The plans were to construct linking Lhasa to Nyingchi in the east was announced in August. Nyingchi is located right on top of Arunachal, the nearest area to the borders.

The 253-km railway line costing about $2.16 billion linked Tibet's provincial capital Lhasa with Xigaze, the second-largest city in the Himalayan region.

The railway expansion in Tibet will connect Nepal, Bhutan and India by 2020, official report.

Since when a country administering their own land becomes retaliation. Hight of stupidity at its best. They are building in their own controlled land. We do in our controlled land. That's so simple. India has made its stand clear. You respect our one India policy and we respect yours. If you don't follow our stand we don't yours then. Thank you.

Doesn't really matter. India should continue with its road projects in arunachal pradesh. Battery of brahmos will take care of Chinese railway lines.

Those brahmos need approval from Russia. Putin has promise China full support in even of wars like providing source codes of guidance, Russia will support China fully.

Retaliate?

lol。This rail has been in the national plan for god knows how many years。

China does not retaliate。

China just carries on doing what needs be done for the long-term interest of the nation。

Everything is executed according to a well- laid out and thought through plan。

Our Indian friends might as well be “forewarned”(is forearmed:rofl:),for you are sure to hear a lot more about infrastructure build-up in Tibet in the coming years。

you don't even have advantage at your homeland  against us and you expect to take advantage of working with our neighbors? we will look forward to see Indo-Vietnam to dig oil to see how you can get and how much we will get in the contest zone...just have a friendly competition.

Meh, won't help much for them. Its expensive and maintiance heavy. Its a lose for them, not us. They don't have any other option besides this. Helecopter releif are burden by altitude hence the payload gets slashed, even if they are taking off from Lhasa. They have no aircraft AFAIK that can land with heavy payload like the An-32 or Hercules. And to top it all off, there aren't a lot of airbases to help with forward deployment, hence they rely heavily on roads.
Bombing those roads, train tracks will not hinder them much, as they can fix them pretty quick, but the bridges are another story.
The problem, for India is short range BM that are stationed north of sikkim and can target Delhi, however if this happens, Parliament will be unanimous in dealing with China. The BM is the only advantage China has with the border, and a threat for us. We may need to fight a war for 2 reason.
1) the Chinese like in 1962, decide to use the border clash with INdia to take there people down spinalley during domestic distrubance. It is worth noting that the PAP has almost the same budget as the PLA and even more training!
2) Water, any water abruption will lead to war, and unlike with PAK whom we have a water treaty with, with China we have none. If they stop the water, and keep it for themselves by diverting it, we have to go to WAR no questions. When you stop the river, its an automatic declaration of war. Bangladesh too depends on the same river.

We are building the Z-20, it's almost made just for the Tibet area for it's ability to lift in that area.

We do have Y-8 and Y-9 and soon we will have the 200+ ton Y-20 all can take off there, Y-20 is going to Tibet in a few month to test flight as per latest reports.

Just to let you know, Y-9 is the improved version of the improved version of Y-8 which is an improved version of An-32.....

It's just us landing there isn't as big of a news, since we been doing it since the 90s.

We have far more air bases in the area than India there as confirmed by reports from both sides.

Our highways are quality and built for launching aircrafts, so there's also that.

As to training, I doubt you know what PLA does for training, I'll just say this, due to our self reliance on weapons, all vehicles are made specially for the area. Also building helicopters specially for that area, 10 tons medium lift and 20 tons.

As to water, no comment.

Bad bad media. This railway is old news used to get more eyeball to the news. That is how media fans the tension between the two countries.

In Indians' mind, everything and anything that China does or does not in Tibet is of great concern to India。

What a stupid country would be in possession of such a problematic mentality?:D
lol stupids is what we called is Chinese ,
A) India build Road, china protest ....
B) china build road / Rail ...India said nothing.....

Chinese are so stupid they keep scratching their head why not India saying anything.... and begging India to say something so that they can get importance.....lol

All those oil blocks in question are within Vietnam‘s 12 mile territorial sea。

Our Indian friends talk as if their oil firms have the political guts、technical know-hows and financial resources to drill deepsea wells。

lol, Y-9 is one of the most advanced medium lifts in the world, and you are throwing retiring AN-32 in my face? lol, we also have Y-20 with domestic engine, when that happens for India let me know.

You think airbus isn't an improved version of the previous version.

I never said Indian forces sucked, I just said, more training is debatable. Our troops must move thousands of miles to a different location to conduct exercises to keep transportation down and readiness to high.

We are also not terrorists, we go at it with light and heavy artillery, and tanks and APCs specially built for the location.

I know for a fact, most equipments that operate in the area have problems which include Indian ones, if you think your vehicles are magical then so be it, but it can be easily confirmed by anyone who knows something about operating in that environment.
