After getting embarrased, Global Times has admitted role of Indian Navy:

Ship in Gulf of Aden rescued by Chinese, Indian navies
Source:Global Times Published: 2017/4/9 23:28:39

The Chinese and Indian navies on Sunday came to the rescue of a Tuvalu-flagged merchant vessel attacked by Somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden, a move signifying what a Chinese military expert believes to be a boon rather than a threat to regional and global peacekeeping as a consequence of China's growing military capabilities.

After receiving a distress call Saturday night, the Indian warships established contact with the captain of the merchant vessel who had locked himself in a room along with the rest of the Filipino crew.
As 16 members from a nearby Chinese Navy ship arrived on the merchant ship, all 19 Filipino crew members were safe, while an Indian Naval helicopter provided air cover for the rescue operation, according to a report from the AFP.
Emboldened by the helicopter cover and Chinese boarding party's rescue, some crew members gradually emerged from the room.

You do realize that the article from Global Times was published before the tweet from PTI right?

The 2 Indian warships not seen anywhere nearby. Are the Indians trying to claim credit from Chinese efforts. I remember in Nov 2008, an Indian warship sank a Thai fishing trawler and claim they have destroyed a mother pirate ship until its lone survivor exposed them.
Indian ship is not seen because it stealth one, cannot be seen by naked eye or camera.

the pictures tell the whole story, they have got a chinese flag and are thanking the chinese navy. Indians aren't no where to be seen except a helicopter hovering above doing nothing.

Chinese boarded the ship so they were the ones to help

.
Sounds like Indians took no action but want thecredit. Last time, they sank a Thai fishing boat and were embarrassed. This time, they were still tried to figure out the national origin of the ship when Chinese navy rescued the ship.

So an appropriate headline would be "Chinese navy rescued hijack ship while Indian navy attempted to verify the origin of the ship"

As nothing is more embarrassing than misidentified a ship and then attack a fishing vessel. So Indian Navy were doing their best to identify the ship. I sympathize as India had view Venus as a Chinese drone, we need to give India more time to identify things. So India should get credit for trying to identify the vessel.
:rofl: OMG , your statement is hurting too much to the Great Navy of India the SUPPA POWA.

yes i do remember and i am thankful to the Pakistani navy for saving our "Butts".

that is why i dont make senseless threads to take potshots on a navy that helped us in the past.

and now use the same judgement on the opening post and drill in some sense there as well.
