I don't think history will repeat. The reason why China periodically rose and declined in history is because grain yield limitation. Which is not a problem anymore. China being weak in recent 100 years is because China was islolated from modern science. Which is not a problem too.

China is largest homogeneous country in the world. Which is most stable and predictable country. Because of this China will win US. US is a fake country. China needs a big domestic market so it needs big population.

Why Chinese gov allows that? Disagree. Letting imigrants in is "饮鸩止渴”(drink poison water to quench thirst). Good for short term. Deadly for long term. Symptoms of the poisoning is emerging in US and many other multi races countries. Only homogeneous countries can last long. Especially for east Asian countries, which have smart and industrious people and unique cultures, big scale imigrants only do harm to them. I don't see any profit imigrants can bring to east Asian countries.
