One Indian surrenders, two Chinese loses the combat capacity because they have to help the Indian.

This could actually be a winning chance to India: just half of its military surrenders, then the whole PLA would be paralyzed. The other half of the Indian troops become unstoppable.

Not true. Even in collective actions, individual courage or cowardice could make decisive impact. A routed soldier could trigger more fear in the rest and cause massive rout. A daring charge by a brave one could lift the fighting spirit of the whole team. Every action is an individual action by an individual choice. Collective action is only a collection of individual actions and every individual choice affects how other individuals make their choices.

Here, I am talking about individual human beings, not robots. The latter works exactly as you described.
