Infrastructure projects are well within Indian territory. I don't understand the necessity of this debate, the plan for infrastructure development in India's northeastern states (and union territories) include Assam, Nagaland, et al -- and this correlates with the Japanese premise of being an integral hand in linking Northeast India to Myanmar and Bangladesh. These are projects that will, in the future, boost the trade between India, Bangladesh, Myanmar (+ continental Asean) and with China, which shares contiguous border with India, Myanmar.

In situations as hostile as the indians and the japanese trying to start a collusion of legitmising a disputed territories, our Foreign Afairs Department has stepped in just in time slapping both the childish indians and japanese on the faces brilliantly
Now this is what we call effective diplomacy.
It is obvious some stubborn indians here on PDF are not learning wisely from it yet

Can you imagine our official speaking the territorial sovereignty of Falkland Island or the Kuril Island. No?
