This means all ships leaving Persian gulf get tracked easily.

Also US has entire Persian gulf under radar coverage and can track every ship.

Its strategy. Ask yourself- how long can China hold off from buying/receiving Iranian oil? maximum is 1 year! Why would China want to immediately add fire to the struggle with US by immediately ramping up Iranian oil imports? Some of you should think strategically not emotionally and irrationally.

Without AIS ON no ships are allowed to leave Persian gulf.
All ships without Ais on are intercepted.
But if AIS is ON even Iranian ships carrying crude wont ve stopped but only sanctions will be applied on buyer.

Iranian attempt to switch off AIS on tankers in 2018 failed as they found out then can switch it off only in Iranian territorial waters but any ships which have to leave Persian gulf will have to switch on AIS as is mandatory

Iran is about to antagonize him, and we will see what he will do...........for the first time...............after being antagonized. Is he bluffing , serious or BSing?
