China rebuffs India over Kashmir

I have a question.

Pakistan gave away a large part of Kashmir to China....do you guys why we did this?

Either its leased for 50-100 years something like that or its given permanently for strategic interest...

. . . .
China gave us land as well. So basically it was land exchange. If I'm not mistaken we got K2 Mountain.

There was a land swap between Pakistan and China when the border between the two nations was demarcated. India has understandably chosen to ignore the land exchange part and to focus on the piece of land currently in China's possession.

This pact will be in force until there is resolution on Kashmir
Article VI stated "The two Parties have agreed that after the settlement of the Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India, the sovereign authority concerned will re-open negotiations with the Government of the People's Republic of China… so as to sign a Boundary Treaty to replace the present agreement." Article VII stated the agreement entered into force with the signature of the parties.

It's a demarcated international border according to Pakistan and China but still it's seen as a provisional agreement.
The boundary between the areas under Chinese Communists and Pakistan administration should be shown as a demarcated, international border. However, because of Indian claims to Jammu and Kashmir, the standard boundary disclaimer must be used to indicate the provisional nature of the present boundary delimitation.
