A disputed territory means that india broke the status by revoking Kashmir's special status on autonomy. Now indians can cry all they want about Aksai Chin or Gilgit-Baltistan. But the fact still remains that the indian military is forced to deploy more troops, deploy more weapons, spend more money on infrastructure and lose credibility on the world stage. Just the fact that a one third of the indian claimed territory is with China and two third of the indian claimed territory is with Pakistan.

I responded when someone was telling that GB is not a disputed territory. However, I don't count UN or any force from the world that they can take Kashmir away from the India.
