I think the main problem is China still lack enough helicopters, 2008 Wen Chuan earthquake PLA sent 20-30 helicopters, 2013 Bao An & Lu Shan earthquake this time PLA sent 36 helicopters into disaster areas, still these Mi-8,Mi-171 and S-70. Five years past, where's our domestic big helicopter ? We lack enough helicopters to join aids instead of walking into disaster areas... Yes the big problem and China really needs r more helicopters. The big problem is not lacking money , rescue workers or supplies, but the road space and hard mountains(just like the condition in Avatar),Traffic Control denied about 30000 private rescue vehicles into the only main road, and call for Non-professionals don't come in order not to take up road space and space in the disaster areas
PLA Cheng Du region sent helicopters(Mi-171) to transport food and tents into Bao Xin county
Airforce digital camo, Marines more blue color areas than it. This time PLAAF sent medical teams into Lu Shan county, now there's no any Marines teams in disaster areas.BTW, are those marines?
Also thanks Chinese journalists, thanks volunteers, thanks doctors and nurses, thanks a lot PLA soldiers, armed police, firefighters, rescure teamers, policemen who saving lifes and treating wounded in Ya An city, in Lu Shan county, in Bao Xin county, in Tai Ping town, in Long Shen town, in Longmen village. Thanks all ppl who provide aid and helps to victimes in disaster areas. And thanks BeiJing and SiChuan government, thanks China Red Cross(still dislike them) and other charitable organizations.Cnleio, thank you so much for providing graphic updates! Very informative!
