China promises retaliation if new tariffs imposed by US
US delegation also come to China to talk, the place for talk doesn't matter, what matters is we changed the terms and US has to deal with it.What retaliation? Just to start talks, China went back on its older retaliatory steps. And despite the US humiliating China, Chinese officials will still travel to US for further talks.
There has been total Chinese capitulation in front of the US when it comes to trade negotiations.

Another self delusion Indian. What do you expect? Lol @Bussard RamjetFunny, you thought China was the one that got humiliated. Who is one that is showing the frustration to the whole world?
China just turned the table, pal, just in case you could only see things superficial.
柠檬吃太多了。嫉妒呗。Indian posters recently become very defensive for US, US tightened leash on India or what?

You talk as if the US is not the current economic and military superpower with the advantage of being able to keep printing the world's reserve currency. The fact is not about the place, but about the decision to continue the talk.
Talks initially happened when Trump agreed to postpone further tariff increase, but right now US is threatening more tariffs and China is still continuing the talk despite this, and despite the fact that China took back its previous retaliatory actions.
You are blind if you read the situation like this. Let me write down here the full situation again:
US imposes tariffs of 25% on 50 bn USD. China responds in kind by putting 25% tariffs on 50 bn USD and says that there will be no talks at the point of the gun.
US imposes tariffs of 10% on 200 bn USD of imports. China respons with tariffs of 10% on 60 bn USD imports, and seeks talks.
US announces further tariff increase from 10% to 25% for 200 bn USD. China seeks talks.
Trump and Xi meet, and announce beginning of talks. Trump announces the delay of announced increase that didn't go into effect yet. While China scales back earlier tariffs imposed on auto and agriculture products.
Talks go on and there seems to be positive momentum for a deal, in which China was willing to make multiple concessions.
Trump suddenly announces that China is going back on its word and announces dates for further increase in tariffs.
Chinese state media don't even report on this news for a while, and the future of continued talks is in doubt.
China states that it will continue talking.
Net result right now is that US has not only imposed tariffs over more than 250 bn USD of Chinese products, China has retaliated by only about 50 bn or so, since the auto and agriculture tariffs were dropped as a precondition for talks, and cancellation of further tariffs, which aren't even happening.
If you can't look at this situation and see that it is China that is in the more desperate situation and the one seeking talks more ardently, then well nothing I say will convince you. You are blind and will remain so.
I just wonder why in every China US thread Indians keen come to US defence more than even Americans, not just this one thread. Indians live for defending US?The fact is not about the place, but about the decision to continue the talk.
