CHINA President Xi Jinping's message to TAIWAN

.
When you have a stick big enough, you don't need a carrot, what China now is doing is take time to grow her stick.
Bomb a nation to rubble then plant your flag on a rock, solid strategy.
Should have just used the Nukes in the 60s, why the wait?

China won't bomb Taiwan into rubbles, Xi said is clearly, Chinese don't fight Chinese, Do you know why China didn't take Hong Kong until 50 years later? it's not because China couldn't, it's because China was waiting for the right time, China doesn't want to hurt Hong kong's economy the slightest, so she had to wait for the right moment.

Hopefully now China spends time to restore confidence in the people and economy of Hong Kong so that the people of Taiwan can see that they can keep their freedoms and ways of life under the one nation.

Time has changed, China was not that weak as she was in 1949. but still, as long as Taiwan doesn't declare independence or host foreign troops, at least for the time being, they are safe. It's just being reinterated by Xi couples of days ago.

Mao's biggest mistake was leaving a "taiwan" to fester like an open wound, and have it get infected from the western virus.

should have finished off the puppets when the oven was still hot post- ww2. would have saved you decades of having taiwan hold chinas official UN seats, and the eternal threat of western supported independence that will geopolitically cripple china.

last time a foreign country came anywhere close to the US mainland, the US almost started a nuclear war over it (cuban missile crisis)

now China has Taiwan, Japan, and South korea to deal with. 3 rich, technologically advanced, and full fledged western puppet states strategically surrounding China around the most important shipping lanes on earth.

US lackeys are also surrounded by Chinese allies and they are all nuclear armed, China, North Korea and Russia

From all facts to say, Taiwan is more like autonomous region. Or a state of India. It doesn't have diplomatic authority

Taiwan have their own currency, military, laws, President, parliament, taxes etc. They are de-facto independent; they have more autonomy than most European countries like Greece who can't even have their own fiscal budget lol.

. .
All Taiwan businesses are closely tied with mainland, many Taiwan students study in mainland, millions of Taiwanese work in mainland, Taiwan's entertainment industry is actually China's, cause they all pursue careers in the mainland, more mainland Chinese tourists visit Taiwan than Taiwan's whole population.
Hongkong also has its currency, police system. America's states have their own military organizations. Except some tiny countries, no major country has formal diplomatic relationship with Taiwan.

Guys, please use the language Indian can understand.

Since 1949, every country established diplomatic relations with China has been required to promise that there is only one China in the world.

Some people in PDF have underestimated China's determination to take back Taiwan.

In next decade, Taiwan will be next Afghanistan.
