Another means of transportation maybe bad for the airlines but is good for consumers and good for the country. Besides we have trillions of cash surplus why not use it to create jobs for the benefit of the people?

If China were a democracy, then perhaps the rich old men from airline industry could lobby and persuade the government to not allow it.
