The small carriers that are operated and designed now are for ship building expertise and training. The new carriers will be nuke powered, EMALS equipped and more than 70000 tons.

yes but after comparing the Defense budget & Industrial Might of 2 countries we are not that behind & Besides there are much better things to focus on like Removing people out of poverty,not to forget there is no one in IOR who can challenge us right now(Excluding the USN)

Pretty sure the PLA Navy could annihilate the Indian Navy.
Knowing the world famous inefficiency of Indians, many Asian countries could whip India.

It's one thing having weapons, it's another to know how to use them effectively to win battles. I don't believe for a second Indian military personnel have the slightest clue on how to use the weapons they have. Indian military is a reflection of its economy and society.

Indians are highly incompetent in warfare. History proves that. Only ones more incompetent than India are your fellow South Asian neighbours.

East Asian militaries will beat any South Asian military.

And where do you suppose PLAN will enter IOR to annihilate IN?

There are only 2 routes :
1 - Long one - Throuh Pacific, where you will meet US of A. So obviously you will not attempt that.
2 - Shorter one - Through Mallaca strait - Where sits IN, which is just 90 km from Indonesian archipelago. which is well inside our range to protect and destroy any hostility.
