what I find truly scary is knowing that my children have a 50/50 chance of being stunted by starvation.
what I find truly scary is knowing that if I was born in the wrong family, I could not even bicycle in high caste neighborhoods.
what I find truly scary is knowing that there is still human sacrifice in my society.
i find those things much more scary than a guy that died 40 years ago.
and this guy also made China's average lifespan 40 years ago equal to the Indian lifespan today.
It's very easy to hide under progress made, isn't it?
Do you even realize that it's simply a logical fallacy?
Social and economical progress do not give impunity to the policies followed and a mindset that allowed such morons to rule.
As simple as Ends do not justify means.
Killing all the poor would definitely reduce poverty, doesn't it? but is that a right thing to do or letting some one else to do it for you a right thing?
same is the case with forced labor or anything that takes away individual liberties
for all your rhetoric about our slow progress, WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS and we just do not subscribe to your world view.
PS i actually can't believe your defending such a dangerous mind set on the basis of the progress which you have achieved only in the last two decades as if other countries simply can't do that.
