UPDATE 2-Libya rebel oil cargo China-bound -sources | Agricultural Commodities | ReutersDUBAI/LONDON, April 7 (Reuters) - China will buy the first oil cargo from Libyan rebels via trading house Vitol, sources said on Thursday, in a trial deal which is likely to clear the way for Europe to resume badly-needed purchases of Libyan oil.
We support the people of Libya, as Gaddafi, the Libyan people will miss him soon, even though he is a dictator, because sometimes a dictator is not the worst thing.
Libya has always been a Western playland. If the rebels decide to whore themselves to the West, then that's fine. However, they still need to pay China for the work it completed. Forgive one offence and you encourage the commission of many.Considering China's seat in the UN and the fact that there will be an outcry if China persists in withholding funds which belongs to the people of Libya, I sincerely doubt that China will be holding these funds back much longer. Given that the Libyan Council has undertaken to honour contracts concluded with Mr Gaddafi, the only concern which China will have is their loss of status as a preferred contractor in Libya after Mr Gaddafi's fall. Their existing contracts seem to be safe enough.
Hardly the first time you get excited over unconfirmed news.Good that China supported Gaddafi with arms.
And yet, they were the first nation to take oil from the rebels!

Ai bhi wah wah, tan bhi wah wah!
China does not have a large stake in Libya to begin with. Even the construction contracts under Ghaddafi were relatively recent.Hardly an issue..China was not wrong in protecting its interests.. However the future seems bright only for West in Libya..
" We will forgive but will not forget " is a pretty big statement..
