Or Vietnamese must be good at Maths.

. . .
Money is the LORD, $ or ¥... Any others ?

Money makes the world go round? Yes it does.

Our per capita income (average annual income per head = USD 7,500 = 80th in the world) does not show our country as a whole has reached the developed status

Some people are rich and superrich. Some average. Again 100 million of us are poor

This is what I envy about China. The shear land mass, the shear man power, its magnanimous unbroken history (over 5,000 years), and an ordered civilization. She (China) is destined for greatness. One can only imagine when China becomes as developed as the United States, or has the same gdp per capita as most post-industrial states.

One step at a time. In all our humbleness we still have a long way to go. We are learning from everyone and we are also happy to share with others on some of our successful experience for the common good of mankind. Our method for increasing crop yields per acre of farmland; our future space station, which welcome overseas collaboration, our helping developing countries to have their own satellites for weather and landscape montoring at affordable prices ... etc are some examples

big franchise always same price around the world @Keel
No
They vary rather wildly
That is why they have a so called "Big Mac Index"

60,000 Dong, or $2.84 at market-exchange rate
The Big Mac index: Beefed up | The Economist

In China a big Mac is sold for ¥ 17 which is about US$2.78 at current exch rate

Absolutely. One thing that I am impressed with , in regards to China's overseas developments, is its influence in Africa and other developing economies. By serving these economies, it is increasing its soft power influence amongst the developing economies. I admire this. What is clear is that so much headway has been accomplished in the last 30 some years. As China grows even more prosperous in the coming decades, its political and military clout will only increase, and it is important that neighbors and international partners develop peaceful strategies.

Our friendship with Africa under the New China started half a century ago through aid and actively helped build their infrastructures - wih no strings attached

The 30-year period of vigorous development is catalytic. And before that we actually have laid a necessary and sometime rather solid foundation for future growth. Our satellites and rockets are some of the examples all credit in part to assistance from overseas and our brilliant returnees (scholars). Let's see how we go from here.

Excellent to hear and inspiring to read about this. Wishing for a more fortuitous future for China, the Chinese people, and the whole world, too.
