China, Not US, Viewed As World's Leading Economic Power By Europeans
10/09/2014 @ 8:18

Back in 2008, a European median of 44 percent considered the United States the world’s leading economic power compared to 29 percent for China.

How times have changed. Perceptions have shifted considerably since the onset of the financial crisis, especially amongst America’s premier allies inEurope. In 2014, China is viewed as the world’s foremost economic power by France, Germany, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom.

In 2010, China surpassed the United States for the first time – 44 percent to 40. In 2012, it widened considerably to 57 percent for China and just 28 percent for the United States. Today, it has narrowed slightly but the margin still remains fairly wide. 49 percent of Europe perceives China as the leading economic power compared to 34 percent for the United States.

I dont know about other countries. You can ask them
For China, we have 1.3 billion mouths to feed
We have 100 million folks who are very poor
We are a developing country, still!
Do you get your answer?

.
so u mean to say china is richhest, but chinese are poor? I am weak at economics. I actually don't get this whole biggest economy thing. nothing offensive my friend, its just me.

Our per capita income (average annual income per head = USD 7,500 = 80th in the world) does not show our country as a whole has reached the developed status

Some people are rich and superrich. Some average. Again 100 million of us are poor

.
that explains a lot better buddy. so i guess people migrate to the countries with higher annual income as a general rule, no matter what ranking they have on the list of economies.
