BD was under the rules of Hindu, Buddha and Muslims rulers where most of them were India centric, their capitals mostly were in India. Delhi, Murshidabad, Nabadwip etc etc.

I went to China the first time 10 years ago, & the second time 2 years ago. The first time I went, there were plenty of run down areas in Beijing as well. The second time I went to China, I was astounded to see China develop at such a fast pace, & that too uniformly, unlike India. China has truly opened up its economy on the world arena. In India, progress is mainly limited to Western & South India, than to Central & North East India.
