This is a rehash of old news with at least 2 already existing threads it would be right at home in.

Also if true this is rather good for the US. The Chinese havn't had the experience of having a huge nuclear arsenal sit and gather dust at the coffer's expense like the US and Russian governments have. Looks like they want the experience.

If not true then thread is moot.

Nuclear weapons stimulate consumption and industry. It trains physicists and engineers. Even if there was no hostile power, China should still build nuclear weapons in times of economic crisis just to stimulate the economy.
