China leads the world in outbound tourism expenditures

If Pakistan wants to attract Chinese Tourists; What would be Places or Activities Chinese Tourists would like to see? We have historic sites, we have natural sites, and we have cultural sites. Also China and Pakistan should work on a program to attract Chinese Tourists on Tourism related CPEC sites. It would allow Pakistan to earn back money to pay for CPEC projects, and lay the ground work for other nations in the OBOR project to do the same.

Egypt's Tourism industry brings in on average 7.77 Billion Dollars a Year. If Pakistan can attract 2-3 Billion from at least Chinese Tourists, it can lay the ground work for Chinese Investors to build in Pakistan to accommodate Chinese tastes and needs.

For Example; Chinese Tourists Flying into Islamabad and taking a Bus trip to Lahore. They can stop at Cultural Shows and natural sites along the way. Archaeology in Taxila (History of Buddhism), etc.

I just checked that HK spent $24b and Singapore spent $22b in 2016. That's more than countries like Spain, India or Brazil.

Maybe it's because we are small and surrounded by cheap tourist destinations.

It differs from person to person, I personally like nature so northern Pakistan Pamir regions are more appealing to me.

Xinjiang is already China's hottest tourist destination now, one third of Xinjiang's GDP is from tourism, Pakistan is next door to Xinjiang , if security issues and road conditions can be improved, Pakistan has a great potential to attract tons of tourists from the world biggest tourist group in both number and expenditures.
