I don't see any of them weaned off China anytime soon to fuel the growing Indian needs.

Then make your own products. Do it instead of talking. I bet if and when you fail you will again blame on Chinese somehow. Trade cannot be taken overnight. You think everyone in the world and every business will say let's not buy Chinese products? Fine put pressure slowly on manufacturers, it will take years and years and things change and most will stay put. Japanese government gave Japanese companies BILLIONS of US dollars to move out of China and every single one of them refused. Smart people and the ones in charge and the ones holding the money realize the reality and the real consequences. It's cheap and easy to say let's stop overnight but the real people will be quiet and dismiss your ideas as no easy task even if they want to do it, most don't even want to do it.

We do not have technology to make but we can incentivize Businesses in USA, EU, Japan, South Korea etc to Make in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Bangladesh, India etc for them to sell in India and non-Chinese markets.

Sony is making its products in Thailand. LG is making TV in Indonesia. Things are changing fast. There would be a marked difference in the next 3 years.

China runs a trade surplus with most of the countries in the world.

The governments do not take any action to avoid being at the receiving end of China's wrath.

But the people in these counties could indulge in unofficial boycott to deliver the same impact.

If this people's movement takes effect, China could lose almost 6 Trillion dollars per year.
