J-11B is not a true 4.5 generation jet yet since it doesn't employ an AESA radar, prerequisite for 4.5 gen fighters.

i must say....

without blogs,personal speculations,we have nothing about informationg about newest chinese weapon.

All of the newest weapons,like J20,J10B,J15,etc....all of the news about them r not from official....

first news of J20 even from several words of a man's ID H*zh*g*ng,when J20 out,99%match his words.

the photos of J20,J10B,J15....all of them r taken by fans....there is no official pics.

if u dont believe them,then u get nothing about chinese newest equipment.~~

The name of the person working on AESA has already been disclosed as Wang Xiaobin from 14th Institute. Huzhigeng already stated that the H antenna is used to improve wide angle search capabilities.

Do crawl back to your dog house whenever you decide to stop embarassing yourself.

The Europeans have already been surpassed by the J-11B, J-15, J-10B, and J-20. Europe currently does not have the technology advanced enough as the above planes. Or have you not bothered to read previous posts or articles at all?

Don't make assumptions based on silly 'insider' nonesense, i have read some 'insider' information and most of it can be disregarded as fanboy nonesense like the one about China having the most 'powerful' AESA of any '5th generation aircraft', i would like to know how those insiders came to that conclusion when most existing '5th generation' radars are either completely classified or very little is know about them, Again it just shows that much of the 'insider' information can not be taken seriously.

Now to the highlited part.

The Typhoon and Rafale are two of the most sophisticaded aircraft in the world. Do you have any idea how good the Rafales spectra is? And yes the Spectra uses AESA.
