If this was year 2000 or earlier Iran would have 0 options. Any option that makes Iran not have to give into unfair(at least perceived)request from US is a win for Iran. Everything is relative. When you're under serious sanctions you dont have the same "options" as non-sanctions nations..

Yes. If you notice Russia and CHina together, they have some countries they "upgrade" quietly- North Korea and Iran come to mind. In popular and public media you hear that Iranians are "living so badly" and "the govt is struggling" but what they dont tell you is how Russia and China come to the "rescue"- privately. They send manpower and send blueprints for weapons(and paid in oil)...then they start doing trade in currencies except USD...

If CHina is on your side today, who can be against you? Seriously!

yes we will take the opportunity, no they will not attack us we are too powerful for them to much life will be lost in few hours of war possibility of collapsing world economy it too much for any military, usually they will not attack a country that can hit them back at there home..

I hope this deal goes through and China imports the majority of its oil and gas from Russia and Iran. Bypassing the Americans and the Arabs and filling in the vacuum left by the Indians. Hopefully, Pakistani establishment can get in on this too by giving the Iranis access to the pipeline networks within Pakistan..

The americans ARE NOT going to attack Iran as the consequences would be FAR TOO damaging to the world and the West in particular. The after effects would last for many decades. The americans only attack super-ultra weak nations like Iraq and Afghanistan. Even then, the cost to the American economy and power projection has been very damaging since the WOT began in 2001. An attack on Iran is out of the question.
