Currently the most popular Mandopop song on YouTube. It's a soundtrack from Our Times. I haven't watch it yet but I remember it was quite popular among my age group when it first released. This type of movies appeal more to female audience lol. Looks cliche to me.

Are you really so gullible? Chinese movies are popular among Indians, Yip Man,....Jackie Chan is superstar in India.

People here in India knows Jackie bcz he works in Hollywood. And he is not a super star here.
People just like his most of Hollywood moives.
Mostly super stars in india are from bollywood and from south Indian film industry .

I don't think any country will catch up with Hollywood in our lifetime. Because

1) Language. Subtitles can overcome language barrier to a huge extent though.
2) Huge variety of themes.
3) Diversity of casts from different races and countries, making it easier to penetrate international markets.
