Look at the map I feel that the US is much more larger than China if it's mainland combined with Alaska the US' biggest enclave which cut off the seashore area with very long line from Canada.

are you back Martian? not worried about those stalkers?

It took a few weeks, but I managed to persuade The National Interest to delete racist comments against Chinese. I think The National Interest has probably banned the racist users. Their accounts now show as "Guest."

I made a big deal about the whole racism thing and the vast majority of the racists are gone.

I had to go through this nonsense on BusinessWeek, Bloomberg, and now The National Interest. I had also been complaining to Disqus.

Looks like Russia is more than twice larger than China.

That's due to the Mercator Projection distortion.

The closer that you move to the North Pole, the smaller the object.

Russia is actually much smaller than it looks on the Mercator Projection. The Mercator Projection counts every grid as the same size. Obviously, that can't be true. Look at an orange. The little slice of orange near the pole looks huge when you stretch it into a grid.

Similarly, Greenland is way distorted in size.

To compare countries properly, you have to look at a spherical globe.
