We all know that, China is the leading country in becoming cashless and 5G implementation.

I have no doubt that most apartments in HK, Beijing, or Shanghai will have a market value that can buy at least 2 of the average American 3 bedrooms 2 baths suburban house, but who is going to have better living conditions and lifestyle?

In suburban US, a child can step out the front door and plays with his puppy on front lawn grass. Do YOU even know what grass is?

You live with a neighbor to your left, right, above, and below you. To me, in my house, that Beijing apartment is a prison cell, or a quasi-prison cell. A very expensive prison cell. But as long as you are happy, that is all that matters, right?

So yeah...You can have your 5G city-prisons. We are fine and happy with our 'ancient' 4G technology.

Once a country hits a level of development and plateaus the role of the government in everyday life becomes minimal. So whether the socialists or some elected person is running the country begins to matter less and less.

That was what people in the US were saying in 1920. People were living in expensive city housing and buying your own home was for rich people. Then after WW2 we became those rich people.

If I have no intention of living in Beijing, why should I CARE if I can afford to buy a Beijing apartment or not?

In truth, I will NEVER can afford such an apartment. But again...Why should I care?

On the other hand, the desire to have a comfortable living condition is universal regardless of cost, meaning, comparing the two examples above, which would you prefer? If you chose the American style suburban house, you just lost the argument.

It's give and take, you can work in Beijing and buy a nice single house in the countryside or other provinces, but you'll have to give up the opportunities and high paying jobs in Beijing, most people still chose to stay in Beijing.

1. Just "Cashless" will still mean an economy that is majorly based on conventional money-based economic system. What should instead be existing is the usual free services plus Social Credits system.

2. Is 5G really that important ?? What is not provided in 4G that is provided by 5G, other than speed ?? I am happy with my buffering-free Jio 4G cell phone based internet connection.

Chinese and Americans have different mentalty, when I was in New Jersey I saw many people work in New York and everyday after work took a one hour even two hours train ride to go back to their homes in New Jersey, that's unimaginable in China, even Chinese cities have better public transport system than US, people still prefer to live in urban areas, they say the same thing can be seen in Chinatowns across the world, they are all in city centers.

You are correct. I see now how 'backwards' America is compared to China based upon 5G technology alone.

In my 3000 sq/ft house, I burst out in tears in the living room out of great sadness for US. Then when I was working out in one bedroom converted into a home gym, I cried again. Then when I went into the master bedroom to clean up, I cried again. Then when I went into another bedroom to prepare for incoming guests, I cried again. Then when I was making dinner in my full size kitchen, I cried again. Then when I was watching the news in the basement theater room with my 65 in 4K LG OLED tv complete with surround sound set up, I cried again because Verizon did not have 5G where I live. I was crying for 5G in all the rooms of my 3000 sq/ft house.

The average Chinese in HK and Beijing must be very happy in their 200 sq/ft 5G apartments.

Only 8% of the US live in cities with more than a million people...so we aren't going to be investing much in smart cities.

Does the development of the city conflict with where people live? What you want to say is that the city does not need to develop? Keeping the steam age or keeping the Stone Age?一脸懵逼~~

I have 60 acres of land in my hometown, there are more than 800 square meters of home, 4G, there is a highway, driving to my home in Changsha for about 50 minutes (but I often work in Beijing, so I am miserable) returning to nature is everyone The pursuit, but in order to survive we must choose.
