But the US is 'hell' by your estimation. Hell is a broad categorization. If a place is 'hell' there is nothing in it that is better than anywhere else. Not jobs. Not social/cultural. Nothing is better than one's origin. When you call US 'hell' there is nothing significant about statistics. Am just trying to reconcile your categorization of US versus what people are actually doing.
