It is the Indian army that is defensive. If you count all the major incursions that happened, it was Pakistan that was aggressive and had a plan and objective. It is another thing that Pakistan failed miserably in those objectives. Your dreams of getting Kashmir are becoming just that dreams. With economics situation in such bad shape, you a will be better served in soul searching where you stand on the world stage. Countries like yours have moved on and are growing rapidly. Take Bangladesh for example. Their Taka is stronger than yours. They are growing rapidly and they are educating their youth. Watch in a decade, it will become a trillion dollar economy. In the third step, India was asked to appoint a plebiscite administrator nominated by the United Nations who would conduct a free and impartial plebiscite.
Problem is you never followed it to T and withdraw your forces and all non Kashmiris. With out first step being implemented first, plebiscite will not happen. Onus is on you guys to follow UN resolution.
