China helps other Asian countries: India gets angry

I wonder why Pakistani governmetn gets angry when GOI helps Afganistan?:azn:

Help hundreds of millions living below the poverty line in India first.

India got more people living below the poverty line than Pakistan's entire population (rich, poor, middle class) put together...and you talk about helping Afghanistan?

Try not to derail the argument, stick to the topic.
Sir I could say the same thing about the China too.:coffee:

If India can change its mentality, instead of treating China as number 1 enemy or potential number 1 enemy, it embraces China and recognizes China's presence, all those can be view as rare and precious opportunities, instead of chanlleges, for India to seize and utilize for its own benefit.

For instance, all those roads can be use to develop India’s backward E and NE areas, and to promote NW development.

Indian politicians should treat China as the number 1 friend, as China provides so many infrastructures around India and ready for India to use. India political parties can therefore fully concentrate on vote-bank management with complete relaxation.

Indo-China engagement is at an all time high

our trade ties and quantum of trade is in the vicinity of $30-35 billion USD

we've formed a partnership to submit joint bids for oil exploration contracts in other countries

as a symbolic CBM theere were even joint military exercises between the two Armies in the past years and this

this is only expected to grow in the near future

Having said that it must also not be forgotten that China craves Indian territory and protecting its sovereignity is of paramount importance for India

So as part of this objective it is necessary to take deterrant measures, build our own partnerships with countries [ASEAN, Japan, South Korea]and voice concerns from time to time to let it be known that unresolved issues are not forgotten

bonhomie and economic partnership will continue. but the underlying issue must always be remembered

or as the Scout motto goes
