If you are saying that Vietnam and the Philippines are encroaching Malaysia’s EEZ, that means you are saying Malaysia has legal rights over that EEZ and islands/reefs that VN/PHL is currently occupying.

But since China is also claiming sovereignty over those VN/PHL occupied islands, and since China’s nine dash lines even cut in more of Malaysia’s EEZ, you are also saying that China’s claim is also illegal and encroaching on Malaysia’s EEZ.

lol I’m just trying to introduce this thing called “critical thinking”.

If I remembered correctly, @Nan Yang is a Malaysian of han Chinese ethnicity so I’m pretty sure he was just trying to defend China and criticize VN/PHL. But he probably didn’t realized that his statement was also a criticism against China. The Chinese members who gave his original post a thumbs up probably didn’t realize that either. lol

Critical thinking is important, that’s all I’m trying to tell them.

No in the Spratly islands our EEZ do not overlap at all !
You are in our EEZ. Which is way way outside your EEZ! The entire Spratly islands is outside your EEZ!

For Vietnam, Spratly island should be outside of its EEZ, but it is claiming EEZ from the Spratly island which is why its overlapping with that of Malaysia's.
