Dude, at the end of the day, BD has a GDP 3.5x that of Myanmar.

BD will burn Myanmar to the ground if it does not take Rohingya back. There is no way BD will spend maybe a billion US dollar a more a year to house and feed Rohingya. Even Awami League will be forced by simple economics to invade and take at least the northern Arakan back. BD is overwhelming a more powerfil country than Myanmar.

I don't see what people want China to do.l, given its massive economic and strategic interests in Myanmar

Their whole economic interest will go in vein if there were a full fledged insurgency in arakan.
