Nah clearly a lopsided political commentator.. Virtually a party political piece that has little to do with real geo poilitics .. Both Hambantota and Colombo South are on full swing, end of this year Colombo south would have the capacity for 12 mil TEU's making it top 15 ports in the world, Vizhinjam is still decades away to be built and just because having mere infrastructure doesn't mean you can divert the traffic, You need to be logistically superior

Singapore, Colombo and Dubai will remain the premier ports in the region for a foreseeable future

Doubtful. Even Hasina can't just steal the money from these mega projects without anyone noticing.

Unfortunately that does happen in third world tin pot dictatorships, Rajapaksa's did it in gay abandon during thier reign, Yes every one knew they were doing it, But the thing is you cant do much about it
