India executes muslims all the time. China only killed criminals. We should do the same with criminals in Pakistan...

Munir thats the difference between you can lots of other ppls in here, you only look at what you want to see. And everyone here can make it out of your post"India executes muslims all the time. China only killed criminals. We should do the same with criminals in Pakistan" have you ever raise you tone when other religion ppls are killed any were else... and the answer would be a big NO.

Ya i am disappointed that the title should have been a bit different. And what china may have or may have not done was to protect its country ppls and its upcoming guest from these ppls. So i dont think china done any thing wrong.

Saudi Arabia Executes Rapist in 22nd Beheading This Year

It’s a good thing. Criminal should be punished either a Muslim or from any other religion.

The report shows that 102 people murder, rapped, robbed in year 2008.
So state shows that there were only 102 people in year 2008 involved in murrder, robbery and rape acts.

I have a money bag question?

How many people in India do the rape, murder & robbery? And how many of them get punishment? And what type of punishment they get?

There is already a thread opened, please refer it.

Ya there are lot of crime happening here in India (no country is exception to crime, happens in all countries) and it takes a long time to get justic for the victim or some time the victim donsent even get justic, definately this is not a good thing and there are some changes need in the Judicial system.

Well, I trust China 100 % and they certainly took the right decision. If a Muslim,Christian,Hinjew wants to damage China, he must be caught and brought to justice

Unfair and condemnable comment on a country of 1 Billion+.
There may be some groups in India that are against Muslims because they are Muslims, and against Christians because they are Christians.

However India as a country is not against any relegion. Its unfair on part of the writer of this message as well as thankers to brand India as "Anti Muslim or some such thing".

I am glad that you show an understanding towards the news item and you are convinced that China executed them because they were terrorists and not because they were Muslims. Its commendable, and reflects the trust between the two nations. I also understand India and Pakistan cannot boast of such trust today and for some time to come. However I request all the members of this forum to work towards the same with hope.

^Doesn't show trust between nations, that's ridiculous!

It shows how eager some people here are to please China, which is rather strange because the opinion of an individual has no effect on state policy, but that's what human tendency is and so you can see it here.

Chinese courts are not fair, their justice system does not guarantee the rights of the accused, and for all we know they are hanging the wrong guy or even hanging an innocent man on trumped-up charges.

BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | China executes Uighur 'militants'

China says it has executed two ethnic Uighur Muslims, sentenced to death last year on terror-related offences.

The pair were found guilty of killing 17 policemen in an attack in the western region of Xinjiang, four days before the Beijing Olympics in August.

The run-up to the Games was marked by an apparent resurgence in militancy among Uighurs, some of whom have been seeking independence for Xinjiang.

Xinjiang is home to more than eight million Uighur Muslims.

China charges that armed Uighur separatists have been waging war against the state for many years.

But human rights groups accuse China of exaggerating this threat in order to suppress the local population.

Attackers named

The assault on the police barracks in the city of Kashgar was one of the most serious attacks on Chinese security forces for many years.

China says that two local men detonated explosives and drove a stolen truck into a group of police officers who were out jogging.

Now, China says that the two attackers - who have been named as 34-year-old Abdurahman Azat and 29-year-old Kurbanjan Hemit - have been executed.

The official Xinhua news agency reports that news of the two men's execution was broken before a crowd of 4,000 officials and residents at a stadium in Kashgar.

China has not said exactly where or how the two men were killed.

" CHINA'S UIGHURS
Ethnically Turkic Muslims, mainly in Xinjiang
Made bid for independent state in 1940s
Sporadic violence in Xinjiang since 1991
Uighurs worried about Chinese immigration and erosion of traditional culture "

Uighurs and chinese are two nations, Uighurs must get their own 'land of the pure'. I hope there's support for this atleast here :)

India, Sikh, Kashmir are three nations, Sikh, Kashmir get their own 'land of the pure'. I hope there's support for this at least here

Brother - China does not need to justify/explain anything. Nobody questions China's secular credentials.

India may have differences of opinion on many issues with China, but we never ever commented on China's secular credentials.

In fact I believe the world should look towards China as a model for a secular country.

They wouldn't be further fueling the East Turkistan movement by executing two innocent people, you can try all you like to paint China with a fascist brush but after all is said and done, rule of law prevails, a fair trial was given. Same can not be said about prisoners in Guantanamo or Abu Ghraib, or wherever else the CIA kidnaps and detains people for torture and amusement.

Kharian torture is far more widespread in China. the US is guilty of torture, but they have to circumvent their domestic laws and bring people to foreign islands to do so and even then public opposition has forced them to eventually shut down Guantanamo.

Chinese don't have free media, so you cannot see in colour pictures what goes on in that country but reports by various neutral organizations give a good indication.

Doesn't matter my friend, in the end the US has been documented in doing the same thing you are accusing China of doing, whether in their own country or on islands where no law governs the land, it boils down to the same thing.

Many would beg to differ, the Chinese have a wide variety of current affairs and news outlets available to them on top of the internet. Please look at the links below to see how up to date the Chinese are with regards to internet use. They are far from a isolated and suffocated society which many with different intentions wish to portray.
