Just a few of those movies is enough to make China second largest movie market for US. I think I do not need to say more.

Entertainment and movie are those easily sanction off threat used by China as pioliticsl threat to US. There is nothing much to celebrate for American as they are more dependent on China market.

The problem is, THE SANCTION IS ALREADY IMPOSED IN CHINA

There are more than 70 movies that reaches 100 millions mark release form Hollywood in 2016, only 9 of them are screened in China. US movie business, combined with the rest of the world having 75-78% of total gross with their own movie.

If China taken further step to limit hollywood's Chinese release, then Chinese market will shrink by more than half of current total, while at worse, US will lose 18-20% profits. Where the actual number is less because China impose larger tax and have no rebate for Hollywood movie studio.

In this case, if China indeed shut off Hollywood movie complete, it will hurt the local business rather than hurting the Hollywood people, as the rest of the world can simply take the slack.

You can hold Hollywood in hostage when YOU DO NOT ALREADY HAVE SANCTION IN PLACE, not when you already sanctioning and censoring Hollywood business
