They have been using traditional Chinese writings for the company name on the aircraft fuselage since 1988, the year when the company was founded. May be they just want to keep it that way.

Actually the cable crew already start training for C919 long ago. I believe it will able to fly commercial soon. Maybe early Feb 2023.ARJ21 took about half a year to start commercial service after taking delivery. For C919, the earliest date would be around March next year.
They need time to train air crew, cabin crew, ground crew, logistic & engineering support personnel and airport protocols on C919. It takes months for the crews to be proficient.
Any update on when if the C-919 will be in commercial service with all Chinese parts at some point? If not, will C-919 models be made for PLAAF and PLANAF service with foreign parts? Longer range MPAs then the Y-8 will probably become increasing required and the Y-20 is probably not the best platform suited for the MPA role.Actually the cable crew already start training for C919 long ago. With the breakthrough in Chinese engine development, will COMAC consider redesigning the ARJ-21 into a more modern design akin to the A220. These smaller jets are more attractive in the commercial aviation especially among budget airlines.
