Two things:

1) Is India this cheap and being such insult worthy to have accepted this dole?
2) Why the China had to linger on 3 months for this, if this was such an easy solution which China allegedly wanted to?

Case closed. No merit.

But china debt will lead to its economic crisis and that's IMF put concern on latest news its growing to 3 times of its GDP and growth again slowing on coming years....

Chinese foreign ministry recently tried to convey this idea of superiority by describing China as a “major country” while discussing the recent agreement on Doklam with India.

Despite the recent differences, the two sides will continue to make efforts to enhance military to military exchanges to “avoid misjudgement and misunderstanding”, Ren said.

China’s military also said it will continue to patrol the Doklam despite the recent agreement between India and China. The agreement resulted in China halting road construction in the disputed area. But the defence ministry indicated that Beijing sees this as a temporary halt and not a permanent stoppage of infrastructure construction.

“The Chinese side will continue to patrol the Donglong (Doklam) area for a long period of time to better guard our border and improve the living and working conditions of the military and civilians living in the area,” Ren said.

“We have long built infrastructure construction and including building of roads. In future, we will continue to make plan for infrastructure construction taking into consideration various factors including weather conditions,” Ren added.

On recent stone-pelting between Chinese and Indian troops at the Pangong lake in Ladakh, Ren said, “I would like to stress that the Indian side should enforce strict discipline on the border defence troops and abide by the agreements and consensus reached by the two sides so as to maintain peace and tranquillity along the border.”

EPIC FAIL............Everyone has missed the big fallacy in this story. Does anyone really believe that a nation of at least 1.3 billion can be bribed by a $20 billion soft loan????????????.............doesn't make sense.

I realise something new.

I am so stupid, Doklam and Doklam plateau are two different things, China wanted to own Doklam not just the plateau, the road till Doka La essentially already covers the whole Doklam plateau. When we station troops there, we have de-facto control of Doklam plateau. Strategically, it was the plateau that mattered, the last big piece of flat land there facing Siliguri. Use google 3D, the plateau area is only at the top left quarter of Doklam, the rest are essentially river valleys with no strategic use.

First off, it's not damning news, its mere speculation.
Secondly, by showing india as a country that will take a bribe to stand down from its stated position, the Chinese intend to show that a) they are economically more powerful than india b) show Indias neighbors, most likely Bhutan that India is not a reliable ally as it can be influenced with money.

That's my assessment. Again, I could be wrong, but a country that keeps such a close eye on its image in the media and the news that comes out of it, I find it hard to believe that the Chinese didn't approve of this story before it hit prints.

Above statement of yours is akin to Johnnie Walker Black Label without Alcohol & Marlboro sans any Nicotine = No punch.

China is a proven Walmart of the world that does not need to show any certificates. Its a universal fact now, akin to a Mercedes which is a German product (Daimler) without any dispute.

Just as Mr. Einstein does not need to flaunt his academic qualification & credentials, same with the Chinese who have trillions of exports with the coveted tag of number one exporting country of the world - far exceeding the superpower, uncle Sam.

Rich is not the one, who has it. Rich is the one who spends it.
On both factors above, China pins India down 1-2-3.

There is no comparison of any kind between India against the China.
India is a low income country having 275 billion as its revenue, something two small banks of China have in their revenue numbers.

The Chinese don't need to convince the world about their economic status. Their FOREX kitty of trillions of dollars is self evident.

Wrong rational.
