- China needs Pakistani approval ?
- All I am saying is that China just gave weapons to the AF gov that she will use to eliminate GHQ proxies, you do the math my friend
Agreed. that is why I reminded you that the past is converted into present by both sides so it is a two-way traffic. Afghanistan should seriously develop friendly ties with Pakistan instead of letting her soil used for Indian proxies against us. Seriously Afghanistan-Pakistan-China even Russia in my personal opinion would be way frowardI think it is mistake to go back in the past as we both did nasty things to each other, the question is that with all the turmoil happening in our neighbourhood is it wise for two neighbours, inseparable for eternity to be in a never ending cycle of hostilities ?
Groups such as ISIS, Talis and other do not believe in boundaries, they murder Afghans today, they will murder Pakistanis tomorrow, that is why my case is that AF-PK government must realize the gravity of the situation, sit one-one and find a long lasting solution to this bad blood between us.
/Peace

This is significant move from the Chinese on taking sides in the Afghan conflict, all parties with the exception of GHQ has chosen the right side, aka the Afghan government, these weapons will be used to eliminate GHQ proxies aka Afghan Talis, is GHQ now in direct conflict with Chinese now?
Food for thought anyone?
@pakistani342 : one more item to add the list of Pakistan being cornered for its policies vis-a-vis Afghanistan?

Beijing wants to have regular and normal state-to-state relations with the Afghan government and the Afghan people, which includes military cooperation.
“Afghanistan is our close neighbor and a very important neighbor to China… So, this is the beginning of our regular military-to-military exchanges and cooperation,” Jing said.

Yes, this is totally a unbiased opinion from a pacifist. Come to Pakistan and look through the 3 million plus Afghans we have in the country. Or take them all back... Ten thousand Syrians were not accepted by America because of fear of terrorists amongst them and we shelter millions and all we hear is do more.
Every act is seen in terms of "how will this Pakistan weaker" or what effect will this have on Pakistan.... It is sickening to watch the help of one nation being labelled as a defeat for our GHQ.Chinese intervention was one of Pakistan's demands in order to offset and abolish India's fingerprint in the nation. No or very few Pakistanis oppose this. Getting China involved in rebuilding the nation is a positive sign and I am sure you know about the good relations between China and Pakistan. With India its very different. In Pakistani eyes you can't compare Indian and Chinese intervention in Afghanistan as the same thing. India has for decades supported anti-pashtun movements. They know pashtuns are the biggest force that has fought India and won including liberation of kashmir in 48.
The most amusing thing about this thread is the OP's delusional overtone that "China has ditched Pakistan and is BFF with Afghanistan now"
You are living in fool's paradise if you think Taliban is a foreign funded proxy in Afghanistan.Frankly I am bit surprised that you are accusing me of hating you or Pakistan, I am a pacifist and pan-regionalist as a matter of fact I want Pakistan to succeed because it will help AF succeed but I just don't agree with the current policies of Pak establishment which supports groups that kill Afghans everyday so I am putting across my view and the current geo-political consideration that is happening the region which shows that Pakistan must pivot its polices vis-a-vis Afghanistan, stop supporting proxies and deal with the Afghan government one-one as two sovereign states. If Pakistan wants to have its genuine grievances addressed it must address it via the elected Afghan Gov and not via proxies such as the Haqqanis or Talis.
