I don't think whether members agree or not with "Yankees views" or "fact twisting" has anything to do with it.

Apparently you aren't interesting in getting the facts by simply asking management..and instead you are just going to keep replying by throwing around speculations hoping to see if it sticks. I can tell you the guy who runs PDF is very well aware of Beijingwalker's history here and his incredibly long list of bans.

Oh I see you want to comment about the bottom part of my reply. Well you should have deleted the top part of your reply that dealt with the ban.

So everytime somebody has an opinion which is seen as being in the minority on PDF the first thing that happens is people start questioning that person's patriotism. As if having an opinion which isn't shared by the majority is a crime against their country.

Now whether that person has come to that opinion due to misleading/twisted stories is actually immaterial. You can always attempt to show them evidence that they are wrong...however that is not the usual tactic...bullying them into submission seems to be the preferred solution since finding convincing evidence is too troublesome or not possible.

1. China is an investor.
2. Chinese workers have experience and skills
3. The salary of Chinese engineers and workers is not too high and they are willing to work overtime

If Pakistan workers have the ability to communicate, skills and equivalent experience, ready to work overtime and accept the equivalent or lower salary, I think most of workers at CPEC will be Pakistan.

It DOES NOT IMPROVE OUR HDI nor Standards of life. It benefits the people who have A/O Levels education, who studied in Beacon Houses, City Schools, Educators, Convent Schools, Acheson Schools, Abbottabad Public School, Army Burn Hall, Cadet Colleges, Military College Jhelum, Lahore and Karachi Grammar School etc. etc.

And can any common man afford to educate his children in such schools? In schools like Acheson, u cant even get an admission if yr earnings r not above a certain levels you u even know what? even though its a government School?

With these western investments what gains u expect us to have? More expensive products in our market that u and me wont even be able to afford, gives these days how much expensive even common usage things have become? Where petrol prizes are?

Have u ever analyzed this concept of yr from every angle? with a thanda damagh on the first place?

Now lets talk about these Chinese investments and products; interms of being beneficial to the maximum number of people of Pakistan.

Under CPEC, When Chinese first came into our market they were coming with their own labor yes yr right! they were. But Since the end of PMLN government back in 2016/17 Chinese were asked to hire the local people! and this pressure on them increased as IK came in......So they said that Pakistan doesn't have enough of the skilled labor force which r knowledgeable enough to work in industries and deal with Machines etc. etc. So inorder to address that they have opened vocational centers here in Gwadar and other areas to educate our unskilled labor and teach them skills. They deal with everything from civil engineering diplomas to teaching them carpentry, electrician, machine learning, operating etc. etc. and everything necessary to work in their CPEC SEZ's industries......They r today teaching them this skillset jobs so they can be hired tomorrow. And can sustain feeding their families.

In practical life my friend, if u have a skill yr or yr family is never going to sleep hungry, because even if yr kicked out from this 9 to 5 job of yrs and u have no savings to relay on and yr b/w switching yr jobs, you can always find employment even as a carpenter, if u know the carpentry.....Do u even know how much a mere carpenter is taking money per day for his job? its 5000/- RS......Now calculate it and multiply it with 30 day month and u get 150,000 Thats how much a mere carpenter jissy koi puchta he nahi ha, is earning u barely has any education. Now if the month is of 31 days then his earnings are 155,000.

Now let me ask you, what is the salary of a 18 grade government officer per month both military and civil? Its exactly 150,000 rupees!!!! And thats for a guy who has studied in these expensive beacon houses type schools, achesons style schools, military colleges, cadet colleges etc. etc. And then has paid upto 200,000 per semester fees to his universities to get a degree and then has paid in CSS academies to pass his CSS exams and then was trained for a year in Civil Services academy in Lahore to qualify as a mere 16 grade officer, and after years of work when he is promoted enough to make it up to 18 grade, then he is earning as much a month as a mere illustrate and jahil carpenter?

Do u see the irony in that? In this world, due to increasing automation,. AI applications coming in market and in industry, what is needed is laborers who have certain skills ie who know how to operate and maintain such kind of machines, As well as as the skill for essential and constant needs like of installing wirings, network engineering, even of carpentry to get a table made on which u will put yr PC in yr firm and in yr corporation etc. etc. And u need labor for that a labor who knows how to deal with steel to mold yr iron into a comfortable chair that u will sit on infront of yr table to operate yr PC inorder to deal and develop these AI applications etc etc or that same 18th grade officer will sit on in his office as well as will operate on the very same table of wood made by the same carpenter who earns as much as him.

This is the irony my friend, the irony! we really really let go of this babu and seth mentality of ours! inorder to truly understand our problems here. We really really need to get out of our cities to see how the real population which is more numerous lives man!

Chinese actually r businessmen, they follow that old asatic business mentality which we call banya mentality. Its not only Hindus who have this mentality, this mentality is amongst all these Pagan Asian Nations no matter if they r Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (i.e. the Parsi or Majoosies) etc. etc. And if someone in this World really knows how to deal with such people its only us Pakistanis. Due to our exp in dealing with these Hindus for a 1000 years.

Thats also how we deal with them as well and use them for the benefits of our people. And that is why these relations are beneficial to the common man in Pakistan.

Now abt their inexpensive products, had it not to do with their |Smartphones, we would have been still using those Nokia and Motorola flip phones of early 2000s even in 2022. It was they who brought affordable smartphones in Pakistan in late 2000s and early 2010s which made these western companies like Samsung, LG, I-phone to bring in their latest stuff here too....in fear of loosing this world's 5th largest market to Chinese completely. Do u even hear abt those LG smart phones today even? No because these cheap smart phones of china have literally kicked them out of the market. Because they didnt increase their investments in Pak in fear of security situation in early 2010s!!!

The problem with these western companies is that they dont like competition, i even heard the news of this American auto manufacturers like Ford had ran away from a market as big as Indonesia which is 4th largest in the world citing competition in the market! LOL

These westerners r used to of monopolistic business models, like they do in North America and in Europe. And when they do internationally in Asia, South America, Africa they dont last themselves because they are not used to of the competition ie Competition business model. Where u will have to bring in the market a better quality product in the affordable prize ranges so the maximum market share can be captured. While what they do is exactly opposite to that in Pak. Let me give u an example, in early 2010s a man in Mardan KPK opened a soft drinks company and started selling in market his products in cheap rates back then pepsi bottle used to cost 10/12 rupees. While his drinks used to cost exactly 10 rupees. What this American company did to take him out of business as he started giving them competition was that they crashed their prizes on purpose back to the early 2000s prize of 9 rupees, which took him out of business as he wasnt from a very rich background to afford to further reduce his prize to 9 or 8 rupees. And as soon as he got out of business in just 6 months, these Pepsi bottles started costing 13 rupees within 2 months of him closing down.

Do u know why? why do these Seth and Babu businessmen do that? Because of sustaining their monopoly in the market. And while the Real prize of that same Pepsi bottle was 11/12 rupees 6 months back when that guy in mardan came, so they increased the prizes even more then how much they were 6months back ie 13 rupees to make up for loss of profit for 6 months due to him! All the while burdening the common man, who r their consumers ie the salaried people like me and u who do 9 to 5 jobs.

Ye ho raha ha iss dunya main meri jaan, jahan competition na ho waha Mafias beth jaty hain due to their monopoly. This is why these Chinese types are must in our market to keep these westerners humble and upright.
