China colluding with Pakistan to repeat 1962: Bharat Verma

India will be in deep trouble either way, considering our massive conventional and non-conventional military superiority, as admitted many times by the Indian Army itself.

And we are not India. If you try pushing deep into our territory (i.e. another "Forward Policy") we will respond irrespective of international opinion.

And you'll face the music. Be ready for that. Don't brag here unnecessarily.

International opinion - China don't have the guts to speak over Russia or US, even not considering the other countries.

.
And you'll face the music. Be ready for that. Don't brag here unnecessarily.

It's not bragging, it's what India's own Armed Forces have said on multiple occasions.

As for the current situation, India is the one with the collapsing currency, collapsing economic growth (not to mention debts and deficits) while also being pressured on the India-Pakistan border.

Not to mention India has elections soon, and the Indian government is putting all their effort into defending India's poorly performing economy.

You couldn't really be in a worse position right now.

.
Doesn't matter if they believe it or not.

All they need is a "doubt" about who started it. Like with Russia's invasion of Georgia. Did anyone sanction Russia?

Other countries will grab on to any excuse not to break economic ties with either country, to avoid hurting their own economies.

Meanwhile, India has no hope of winning on the ground, as admitted by India's own Armed Forces. So other countries will issue statements while India sustains constant losses, starting with the Chicken's Neck corridor and all of Northeast India.

Both China and India have "No First Use" nuclear policies, so no one will have to worry about the war spilling over into other countries.

U tend to rely too much on statements rather than base rationale. I wont go into jingoistic hyperbole but with a 3mil standing army on each side active warfare of more than a year would need nothing more than a 100,000 fighters, even more so Asymmetrically.. We can easily make it last and considering its our territory ull be in for a grand whopping ,thats a given.

Not to mention the fault lines that erupt as a consequence,
and then the question arises ,who has the most powerful enemy that will be willing to exploit it.

.
The global media will sell the Indian version of the story.

You mean like how the international media sold the story of the so-called Chinese incursion into Chumar?

I was reading the international media constantly during that time. To my surprise, none of them even cared.

A few brief articles mentioned the dispute, but I had to actively search for them in the sub-sections, and they were mostly neutral too.

Compared to the recent India-Pakistan border killings, which even made the front pages in some media outlets.

"Indian intelligence agencies should gear up to support separatist forces inside Tibet and Pakistan.

He seems to forget that India has the worst insurgency problems in the world.

India and Pakistan have had several wars, one with major consequences, and they have since come to the brink of war a few times. Therefore, any escalation of tension, coupled with actual casualties, is worthy of news.

The situation with Chinese incursions is not comparable.

However, if an actual war breaks out between India and China, and given the West's clear preference for one side, the media coverage will be appropriately tilted in India's favor.

And, like last time, we are going to ask Pakistan to help us attack India by opening up another front.

And, like last time, you guys are going to say "No" again right? Then we go on to win on our own, and you guys will then moan decades later about missed opportunities.

The only thing that matters is that we have the overwhelming advantage against India, which even the Indian Army itself has accepted. Not to mention the high ground on the Tibetan plateau.

Not to mention we have the largest manufacturing base in the world, and most of our weapons platforms are indigenous. In times of war we can pump out endless numbers of military platforms, while India will have to buy them from the west.

And that is even without considering the recent collapse of the Rupee, and the exploding deficits that India has.

.
In present conditions, war is favorable to China.
If war does breakout it will be worse than 1962 for India.China has massive conventional capability against us and with their logistics all the way connected to the frontal areas,Indian forces will be heavily outnumbered.
Recent incursions Indicate China wants things to escalate so that they could repeat another 1962.
One thing is for sure coming war will be bloody for both sides with China prevailing again unless war goes nuclear(highly doubt).

We don't have to drag Pakistan in this fight,we can certainly win it by ourselves.

We will win it without a doubt.

With the collapsing Indian Rupee, fiscal deficits, and Forex reserves, they won't be able to out-fund us or out-produce us during times of war. They will have to order more platforms from the West, who will squeeze them for money they don't have, and take forever to deliver them.

The gap between China and India's capabilities (economic + military) today is far wider than it was in 1962. India would be suicidal to try anything at all.

Take it from the Indian Armed Forces themselves, who know a lot more than internet fanboys do.

'India can't match China's military force': Indian Naval Chief - IBN Live

New Delhi: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sureesh Mehta has set off a storm by saying India cannot match China military force. Is it a warning from India's military that the government needs to hear?

"In military terms, both conventional and non-conventional, we neither have the capability nor the intention to match China force for force," said Admiral Sureesh Mehta.

"Whether in terms of GDP, defence spend or any other parameter, the gap between the two is too wide to bridge and is getting wider by the day," he said.

And that was before the revelation that India has only 2 days worth of ammunition.

And that was before the collapse of the Rupee and the collapse of India's economic growth, combined with spiraling debt and deficit explosion. Back then India's growth story was still alive, today it is not.

Two up and coming powers go to war over a border dispute they should have sorted by now.......the west is loving it.
