you can disscuss those topics with westerns. We have our own opinion and ways to deal with this situation. They will find a way to harm you . beard or no beard.
It is a bad move and also violation of human rights and freedom
Firstly we are not banning long beards, but only forbiding people with long beards to take public transports in a certain area of Xinjiang. It might seem too restrict, but public safety is always above anything else, especially for an area which has been struck by several mass terror attacks recently. Maybe not every guy with long beards are terrorists, but evidence shows that every terrorists had long beards. That makes this move reasonable enough.
You know what I was talking about. And you know what a Taliban style long beards often mean to a society which had no tradition of it before. In this term, human rights must yield the right of way for public safety and it is not negotiable. You mean beard explode itself while in the bus?
This is a requirement in northern Xinjiang Karamay City, Karamay fewer Muslims, this provision as a whole is right, some places should be modified.
Human rights organizations should go to protest France, to protest the European Union, where the Muslims more than China, which has long banned the black robe and veil.
Before any of a Muslim ethnic Chinese are not wearing black robes customs. Maybe some foreigners think wearing black robes and do not represent the extreme, but in China it is the extremist forces in recent years has brought this conservative dress. Karamay done right, China should be forbidden to wear black robes. Article said side, seniors can stay bearded, young people should not stay requirement is big beard.

You are a sucker, this bitch has been prohibited from participating in any public events.why you don't ban Chinese wearing this
Now ... Cheer !! LOL
You got totally wrong. Uighur people have been Muslims for centuries, and they never wear like that. It is safe to say there is a link between the change of wearings and the imports of extreme religion belief. When hundreds of life died, if you are a kind, common people, you should understand this rule. People who could be radicalized are probably extremists and they have to be exterminated. It is not the beard but the man behind the beard do harm. If you just push people to the corner while imposing laughable restriction the more people will get radicalized. Why not open and keep discussing the genuine grievances if any. There are too many muslims in the world and keep growing. You have to accommodate, and muslim have certain life style you like it or not.

Maybe yes.it will be easy to carry on such activities without a beard so this security excuse is silly
You are right. Actually this banning is only for young people, not for senior ones. And as far as I know, only religion staff who work in mosques are required to keep long beards, not every one. By all means, there are always inevitable chances to make a choice between individual freedom and public interests and in china's culture the public always come the first. My father and grand father had long beard and did their best to do good for their community. I have no beard and a screwed up person relative to them
