Balasore: India today test-fired Nuclear weapon capable surface-to-surface Agni-IV from Wheeler Island off Odisha coast. The entire operation carried out by the Army’s Strategic Forces Command (SFC) personnel as part of the pre-induction user trials, according to a top official of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Test of Agni-IV missile with a strike range of 4,000 km conducted at Wheeler Island off the Odisha Coast. It should be noted that three developmental trials of Agni-IV have been successfully conducted by missile technologists of the DRDO, which developed the weapon system.
