The demonstration project carried out in the Erenhot wind farm will explore the operation mode of the flywheel, battery and wind farm to meet the requirements of primary frequency regulation through the long-term operation of the hybrid energy storage system on the grid, and find the most economical solution for the primary frequency regulation of the wind farm.

#科技新突破# 7月14日,东方电气集团东方电机有限公司联合国机重装、中信重工研制的世界首台单机容量最大功率500兆瓦冲击式水电机组转轮中心体锻件,先后通过了包括业主在内的三方联合检测,各项指标优秀,全面满足技术要求,成功下线,实现了我国500兆瓦级高水头、大容量、冲击式水电机组的研制新突破。新下线的该锻件锻造重量接近150吨,成品锻件达到百吨级,将应用于现阶段国内唯一可开展500兆瓦级高水头大容量冲击式机组研制及应用示范的水电项目——大唐集团扎拉水电站。(陈科 张洁 科技日报实习记者 李诏宇,受访者供图)​

The world's 1st 16-MW offshore wind turbine in SE China's Fujian was successfully connected to the grid on Wednesday. With 123-meter-long blades, the wind turbine can generate 66 million kWh of electricity in a year, meeting the annual demand of 36,000 3-people households.
