So this is fake news fooling some in the West about carriers that can rival American carriers, when it is likely that China is going full steam on the said carriers. Her source would be the clue if this was Chinese expert directed, unlikely. Or simply another terrible source, far more likely.

This precisely show the non interference and one country two system works in place. China CPC can easily replace this SCMP but it respect HK own government and their media. Just like memorial for Tiananmen square incident in HK. China can stop easily but didnt and allow it happen every year. it's a crappy article which uses SCMP as it's source, those anti-China analysts are all the same, basicaly they tell what their China hating audience wants to hear which is that China collapse is close & China can't produce jack sh*t, they make a living out of it, I read this article before this thread was openned & wanted to share it but I thought it was too worthless that it would bring the quality of the China defence section down, these kind of articles would fit perfectly in retarded forums like reddit for example.

IMO the only reason why we should share these articles is to have something to laugh on.

I believe they made the right call, I suspect they want to do more test firsts before they continue with the carriers. Or there is a lack of suitable planes and having carriers with no or weak planes make no sense.

They should concentrate on rail guns.
