Iran actually offered Chabahar to China before but we wanted Gwadar instead due to strategic reasons. Linking these two ports would be good, Chabahar does not have the depth nor the capacity for bigger ships.

Use the word natural in between.

If you are not aware, we had already dredged around 15 to 16 Meters increasing the depth of Chabahar from its natural depth. If a depth of 23 meters or above is achieved, it will very well become a DEEP SEA port able to handle VLCC.

So doesn't have naturally don't mean, it is never achievable artificially. Understood my friend. LOL

Nope, it means Chabahar and Gwadar won't be a battle field, it will be a joint development area, complementing each other. Iran needs China & Russia more than India.

Can you tell me which sanction did China or Russia voted for? China and Russia are one of the only few countries which does business with Iran regardless of any sanctions.

when sanctions were brought in by USA, all Russia and China had to do was VETO against those sanctions, which they DID NOT do.

Not vetoing does not mean we agree to the sanctions, we could have done it due to political reasons. We actually bypassed the sanctions and continued trading with Iran directly or indirectly. Up until today, the most important relationship Iran has is with China and Russia. India is not even qualified for Rohingya crisis. i know you are trying really hard to be SUPA POWA

Lol, that's what happens when you have a short sighted reactive planning. China developing Gwadar was not just for military purposes. Chabahar has got no commercial potential unless linked to Gwadar. It is the Iranians milking India for free development fund.
