There are no areas called "Tamil Areas" in Sri Lanka, There are the areas which Tamil percentage is higher. Also there are areas/cities which Moors percentage is higher. Indians see other countries thinking about their system, you guys will never get this experience coz of your system. There is a big difference living in a block of a country and living in a country.

Anyone can visit those areas now, so you can see actually what happening those areas! Recently more tourists are visiting there. Chinese do road developments, Indians do railway developments, so you can ask from your countrymen about it. BTW, heard there were a lot of Indian tourists visited SL last year
