peaceful intentions doesn't mean peacefully cede our territory or let other to steal our land in SCS. Anyone tried to abuse our peaceful intention can only expect the outcome of our un-peaceful retribution.

I am surprised that this just started. Scarborough Shoal is strategically very important. With such a close distance to Manila and US bases, it can closely monitor US navy/army stationing in the Philippines.
China has started to ignore Obama and treated him as a past story. I think that China and United States will only re-conciliate when next U.S president comes to power. End of island reclamation will be a big present for next president.

Philippines decided to become the pioneer to contain the rise of China. Of course it will be hit hard and become the sacrifice for the rise of China. What Philippines did during past several years will have very deep long term impact. It will take decades to repair Sino-Philippines relation, or maybe never.
