Excess water is released by every country. It may flood lower plains but minor setback are taken heads on to avoid bigger catastrophic consequences.

I doubt that dam is leaked or distorted, even if it's true that could happen to very any one. Safety margins are added to design to predict worst case scenario but you can never predict nature to 100% accuracy.

Our condolences to families lost their family members. It's tragic and sad. we must not make fun or exploit such tragic events to peddle our narratives.
