I see this as a calculated move by India despite knowing fully well that China will cockblock resolution yet again in favor of a known Pakistani terrorist - who was released in broad daylight in exchange for hundreds of Indian hostages of a hijacked Air India plane.

This is not necessarily a setback for India and India must continue to press for blacklisting and eliminating all terror scum at every available opportunity. If China wants to block such resolutions, let them waste their political capital and hard-earned good will in order to protect these scumbags and their real benefactors in Pakistan.

This will also force China to take an open stand, in favor of terror, against India and not hide behind in the shadows as to where they stand in fight against terror and in general, matters related to Indian interests.

And India must not let China use scumbags like Azhar as bargaining chips in any negotiations. In reality, the rest of scums and their benefactors in Pakistani deep state will continue to try and create havoc in India even if individuals like Azhar are taken care of.

From India's POV, the only long term solution is to strengthen India's own border defenses and fine-tune her anti-terror mechanism to ruthlessly dispatch all the scum before they can do any harm.
